Hello My Lovelies,
I feel like product reviews are now my new favourite blog posts to write.
I love sharing my honest opinions about new products with you all … nearly as much as I love spending the money on new products.
So tonight, I was supposed to be doing some overtime, however the last 3 days I have really been struggling to get out of bed in the morning. So I decided it would be the smart and maybe mature thing to do if I got an early night.
So tonights plans are blogging, wrapping some christmas presents and having some chill time before getting a good nights kip.
So in one of my recent blogs I told you all that I had gotten my hands on the ASOS Beauty Calendar, which by the way I am loving!!! So I thought I would let you know what I have received in my first 5 doors. Of course, you will all see a pattern I will be blogging about all 24 doors. YAY!!!
So to start with in door number 1 I found a deep pore exfoliating polish by a brand called amie. I am already in love with this product, I have used it every night since the 1st. The best thing about this product is the smell, it smells like my favourite sun lotion ever Hawaiian Tropic and being a very pale person, during summer I have to wear sun lotion non stop.
Fun Fact: I also have very very sensitive skin so i have to be carful with the products I use on my face and so far I have not had a reaction to this product. I really hope I never do …
After using this product my face is so soft. You know that feeling after you shave your legs … Thats what it feels like after using this product.
My plan was to link every item below, as I believed all of the products were minis that ASOS would sell however I cannot find this product anywhere on the website, so it appears I was wrong.
So December the 2nd I got the Batiste XXL Plumping Powder. I have to be honest with you guys. I haven’t used this product yet, my hair can be pretty voluminous without using products, Unless I have straightened my hair. So I will test it all out for you all the next time I straighten my hair, in order to give you my honest opinion of the product.
In door 3, I was surprised with a tinted lip balm by the brand Burt’s Bees. I myself had never tried this brand before and now I feel like I’ve been missing out for 20 years … I think my favourite will still remain as cherry carmex, but give it time I may be swayed.
This makes your lips so smooth as well as giving them a lovely pink glow.
Okay, so heres a little secret for you all. One of the things I am most self conscious about would be the bags under my eyes. I hate them, they’re horrible.
I love trying new under eye brightening products to see which ones actually work and make an actual improvement. The next product I found behind door number 4, was the wonder eye cream by Balance Me.
I dont see the biggest improvement but it is one of the better products I have tried for brightening those black holes under my eyes.
Day 5, I think has to be one of my favourite products so far!!! It is by Dermalogica and it is a Breakout clearing Foaming Wash. There is nothing that smells more natural than this product, well thats what I think anyway.
There is no doubt about me wanting to purchase this product again, as well as trying some of their other products.
I can’t say that I have acne prone skin however I do not wear make up very often so when I put on a full face of make up, you can see that my face isn’t quite used to it the day after. As I seem to have a break out, no matter how many times I clean my face to get rid of all of the make up.
This product leaves your skin so soft, as well as leaving a nice fresh feeling, (If you know what I mean). This product is definitely going on my Christmas List.
So I have a few questions for you all;
Have you tried any of these products?
If so, what are your opinions?
Lastly, if you haven’t tried these products, are you going too?
I hope you all enjoyed my blog tonight!!
Stay Weird … x
Jamie
