Christmas Book Haul

Hello My Lovelies,

How are you all doing? I’ve had a rough day, but I’m home now so I guess you could say I’m happy.

Today I thought I would share the Christmas books I’ve brought this year with the intention to read them over the holidays, although, so far, nothing.

So let’s just jump straight in, shall we?

The Christmas Promise – Sue Moorcroft

Blurb: For Ava Bliss, it’s going to be a Christmas to remember …

On a snowy December evening, Sam Jermyn steps into the life of bespoke hat maker Ava. Sparks fly, and not necessarily the good ones.

Times are tough for Ava – she’s struggling to make ends meet, her ex-boyfriend is a bully, and worst of all, it’s nearly Christmas.

So when Sam commissions Ava to make a hat for someone special, she makes a promise that will change her life. She just doesn’t know it yet…

Sleigh Rides and Silver Bells at the Christmas Fair – Heidi Swain

Blurb: When Anna takes on the role of companion to the owner of Wynthorpe Hall, on the outskirts of Wynbridge, she has no idea that her life is set to change beyond all recognition.

A confirmed ‘bah humbug’ when it comes to Christmas, Anna is amazed to find herself quickly immersed in the eccentric household, and when youngest son Jamie unexpectedly arrives home it soon becomes obvious that her personal feelings are going all out to compromise her professional persona.

Jamie, struggling to come to terms with life back in the Fens, makes a pact with Anna – she has to teach him to fall back in love with Wynthorpe Hall, while he helps her fall back in love with Christmas. But will it all prove too much for Anna, or can the family of Wynthorpe Hall warm her heart once and for all…?

The Cozy Christmas Teashop – Caroline Roberts

Blurb: From sleigh bells to wedding bells . . .

After a rocky start, Ellie Hall baked her way into everyone’s hearts at Claverham Castle – even the miserly Lord Henry was won over – and the run-down teashop regained its old sparkle.

Now Ellie has upgraded cupcakes for fairytale masterpieces as the proud caterer for an ever-growing list of weddings at the castle. The teashop team love baking to the tune of happy ever afters, but can they pull together when a certain bridezilla pushes them all to boiling point?

Christmas is just around the corner, and a last minute booking threatens to snow the team under. Ellie and her hunky hubby Joe have their own Christmas dreams to chase, but they’re determined to pull through and give this special couple the winter wonderland wedding they deserve.

Will Christmas at the Cosy Teashop be a showstopper to remember?

Now I wouldn’t say these are my usual picks for books, my normal picks are mental health related or soppy love stories, but there was something about struggling small businesses, bridezillas and the ‘bah humbug’ spirit which just screamed Christmas to me!

Let me know if you’ve read any of these books, I’d love to know your thoughts, hopefully, Ill get round to reading them soon.

Stay Weird

Haven’t read any of these but I’ve seen them about in the book blogging world. The covers are all so gorgeous. I’d recommend A Christmas Tail by Cressida McLaughlin xxx
