Hello my Lovelies,
Today I thought I’d talk about something I seem to do quite a lot. FAIL.
Now don’t get me wrong, I don’t believe the amount you fail represents your abilities or talent. I wouldn’t necessarily class myself a talented person; I do try my best though…
There are so many things that you can fail at nowadays and I would say my most often failures are tests. I believe tests are all about our abilities to remember facts, figures and certain processes and I have ‘the memory of a gold fish’ thanks Jay. I know there are many people out there who have failed. If you are reading this and you’re saying you haven’t failed, I’m pretty sure you’re hiding it or lying to yourself (please don’t take offense, this is just my opinion).
There is nothing to be ashamed of when it comes to failure, trust me!!! A lot of people struggle to deal with failure and this seems hard for me to believe now. As failure is just a part of life. Failure is something you should embrace and learn from, as the more you learn from failure, the more you grow and expand your knowledge.
I was someone who struggled with failure to start with but I’ve learnt as I’ve gotten older, that failure makes you stronger. Hearing other people’s stories of failure just shows that no one is perfect.
Another thing I have been known to fail at is staying on track when I start a new diet. I am a huge fan of starting diets and trying to get fit however I always struggle to make it a full month eating healthy, so my weight fluctuates, which I am not happy about, as I want to lose some extra weight so I can feel more confident in myself. I’ve just started another diet today; I’ll let you know how that goes in a couple of days. Fingers crossed I can make it more than a month this time!!!
Although if anyone is trying to get fitter, I did a boxing workout today, which is so intense, I would recommend trying it out – https://youtu.be/lujcE3FGL_U.
I know this was a bit of a weird post I just wanted to make sure that everyone who is struggling with failure or anything else for that matter. You will get through it and you will come out stronger. NEVER GIVE UP!!!
Here are some of my favourite quotes in regards to failure;
“Never give up” (Cliché, I know but its true).
“Fall seven times, stand up eight”.
“The one who falls and gets up is so much stronger than those who never fell”.
“Failure is the only opportunity to begin again, only this time, more wisely”.
“I am learning to trust the journey even when I don’t understand it”.
My favourite ever quote is from one of the best actors of all time (it’s kind of unrelated but I’m sharing it anyway) – “You’re only given a little spark of madness. You mustn’t lose it” – Robin Williams.
Anyway I hope you liked my post today, I hoped it inspired & helped you a little.
Stay Weird … x
P.S. Unfortunately, I haven’t really got any obsessions of Jays this week as he hasn’t been home. But I can tell you how much of a bonkers football fan he is … he woke up at something like 3am this morning to watch a Liverpool game.
