First off … I want to apologise, I know I’m 2 days late to post. Unfortunately, I’ve been quite busy lately with work and redecorating my room.
So for everyone who follows me on Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter or Facebook, you’ll all know it was Jays birthday yesterday. So as a birthday treat I decided I would make him his favourite cake … which is of course a Victoria sponge cake.

This cake is fairly easy to make if anyone would be interested in recreating it for themselves.
Due to the fact that I had small cake tins, I decided I was going to make it 3 tiered as well as using fresh strawberries. Which was the only criticism jay had, that he wasn’t a fan of the fresh strawberries. Hey, Ho … constructive criticism can be helpful.
The preparation time for the cake is 15 minutes, as well as the actually cooking time being 15 minutes.
11/2 level tsp – baking powder
1 tsp – good quality vanilla extract
